First D.J.Wagner HVAC Inc. Charity Golf Outing a Success

Over $25K Raised for Women and Children in Need

Westville business, D.J. Wagner HVAC Inc. joined with South Jersey non-profit organization, Embrace the Children New Jersey as the beneficiary for their first annual charity golf outing, on July 31 at Valleybrook County Club, Blackwood.  Over 100 golfers and 48 sponsors brought the total amount raised to $25,000.00.  Drew Wagner, C.E.O. and president of D.J. Wagner HVAC matched contributions up to $10,000.00.
ETCNJ will use 80% of the proceeds for outreach to women and families in NJ, with 20% of the proceeds funding ongoing projects in Africa. Some N.J projects include: The Good Counsel Home "Camden Project", The Cathedral Kitchen of Camden NJ, Choices of the Heart, Covenant House New Jersey, Missionary Sisters of Mary Immaculate, Elmer, New Jersey, Firstway Pregnancy Centers of NJ.

Both groups provided many volunteer family, friends and business associates for the event to help with setting up, registration, raffles, a Chinese auction and luncheon.    "Each of you here today is touching the life of someone else.  Each of you is doing something special to make someone's life a bit easier."

“There really isn't a good reason to go through life without reaching out and trying to make a difference."  said Drew Wagner during a speech given at the event luncheon.

Donna Ingraham, Director of Embrace the Children, New Jersey Chapter adds, " We honor with dignity the true femininity of woman, embrace motherhood and cherish every conceived child, especially in the most impoverished areas of NJ, the US and worldwide."   We sponsor and present programs that engage youth and reach out to women with physical, emotional and spiritual needs."  As the NJ chapter is two years young with much life-giving work ahead, the proceeds from the DJ Wagner golf outing will enable us to expand our outreach dramatically!"  We are profoundly grateful to Drew Wagner and the wonderful staff at DJ Wagner for their tireless commitment, dedication and financial support.  In this collaboration of love we all have truly "Embraced the Children."
